ILC Scholarship

The Kyle Wetmore - Intermountain Logging Conference Scholarship is being presented at the 2023 ILC to honor Kyle’s memory. Kyle attended high school in Deary and was a graduate of the University of Idaho Forestry program. He loved being outdoors in the Idaho woods for work and play. After graduation, he worked with Reggear Tree Farms, Plum Creek, Potlatch Corp and for many years in timber procurement for Idaho Forest Group. Kyle was an active member of the Intermountain Logging Conference Board.

The $1,500 scholarship will be presented on behalf of the Intermountain Logging Conference to a student currently studying Forestry at the University of Idaho. Applications will be evaluated based on academic performance, student club and other activities, and career focus on working in operational forestry/forest products in the region.
